It's that time of year again- the countdown to Christmas and the end of 2012!

Dale Lodge Hotel and Tweedies Bar are already running low on spaces for you to celebrate this festive season.

Christmas is a time to spend with the family so don't spend yours slaving over a hot stove- let our team of talented chefs do the hard work while you sit back, relax and enjoy a 4 course meal with the whole family. £45 per person including tea, coffee and mince pies to conclude. (Under 12's £25 per person)

New Years Eve should be a celebration- looking forward to 2013, waving goodbye to 2012 and before making all those resolutions (that lets face it, we all break anyway) it's time for one last party! The Lodge Restaurant is offering a champagne reception with canapés and musical entertainment from local talent Nathan Winn- to include a five course meal and entrance to Tweedies bar to enjoy the late bar. 

While Tweedies offers more of a party atmosphere, a 5 course meal with lively entertainment, a late bar and a fire work finale! 

The lodge £75 per person and Tweedies £65 per person

The 6th Annual Grasmere Guzzler Beer and Music Festival......

After 3 days of real ales, hog roast and fantastic live music we are all Guzzled out for another year!

Master Bartender 2012

Tweedies very own Paul Seagraves was named Pilsner Urquell's master bartender in London last week.

Seagraves was up against eight fellow bartenders competing to replace the 2011 champion, Robert Kecskes from the Anthologist. Having triumphed, Seagraves was awarded a £5,000 and will be flown to Pilsen this October to take part in the Czech brewer's Master Bartender Final. There he will go up against bartenders from around the world in a bid to be named Pilsner Urquell Master bartender and win a €10,000 cash prize.

Dale lodge wins prestigious award

Dale Lodge hotel and Tweedies bar wins prestigious award. The Best Employers in Hospitality Awards 2012 England & Wales revealed the industry's top employers at The Lancaster London on the 18th June 2012.

These unique awards reward and recognise the cream of hospitality employers judged by the people who know them best - their employees - via an employee engagement tool provided by our partners learnpurple.

At a celebratory dinner the category, top 50 direct employers, top 10 recruitment consultancy employers - and of course The Best Employer 2012 were announced.  Dale Lodge Hotel and Tweedies bar  came 1^st in the small independent hotels category http://www.bestemployersinhospitality.com/winners-2012.aspx  and came second overall in the top 50 employers in hospitality. http://www.bestemployersinhospitality.com/top-employers.aspx .
